2015 – A Year for Magic

Looking back on 2014, I can’t believe how much I managed to fit in and just how much my life has changed. I attended the Edinburgh book signing #RARE2014 and met some wonderful writers, lovely readers, and I made some really good friends. In 2015 I will attend my first book signing, as an author. I will be at Birmingham in July, so if you are attending come along and say hi !!

This time last year, I was still in the process of editing my first book and feeling very anxious about releasing it generally. I needn’t have worried…. Playing for Keeps, my debut novel was well received, and I have had some wonderful reviews as well as many lovely messages from readers.

I met and made friends with some fantastic people, and have found my foray into the world of writing to be nothing but pleasurable. Readers have overwhelmed me with their love and support, and fellow authors have offered lots of help and encouragement.

In the autumn I took part in the Masquerade anthology, and was amazed at the success we achieved. I worked with a great bunch of girls and I think we all had tremendous fun as we strived to give you something that was just that little bit different! Many of the stories are now going to be developed and expanded upon, so look out for my fellow conspirators releasing some new books very soon!

For myself, I have just finished writing my second book in the ‘Playing’ series; all of which can be read as standalones. I’m currently in editing, but hoping to be able to give you news of a release date early in the New Year for ‘Playing by His Rules’. It’s another sexy tale of a dominant Alpha male being brought to his knees by the love of a good woman and is nearly double the length of my first novel (who would have thought I had so many words rattling around just waiting to be let loose?).

As far as new year resolutions go – I’m not too strong on making them – but I will say that I will try and update this blog on a more regular basis.
